and Senior Art Director based
in Bucharest, Romania.
I studied Design at the Academy of Arts Bucharest, currently the National University of Arts Bucharest. I started my university studies in 1991, at that time, the studies lasted six years, and the students were receiving a triple specialization: Graphic Design, Product Design and Environmental Design.
After completing my studies in 1997, I carried out my professional activity in the advertising industry. Since 1995, I have worked for several international and local advertising agencies. Over time, I have contributed to various advertising campaigns, or branding campaigns, developing creative concepts for multinational and local companies. I currently work as a freelancer for creative projects such as corporate and brand identity, promotional materials, packaging and photography.
In 2018, after 21 years of professional experience, I decided to start my PhD studies in Visual Arts at the National University of Arts Bucharest, developing explorARTa. This artistic research project proposes a creative approach to psychogeographic exploration.
My experience in advertising also allowed me to work in Higher Education. Since 2015 I have been collaborating with the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies from Bucharest, as a lecturer, I teach the Desktop Publishing seminar. Between 2020 and 2023, I worked with the students of the Design Department, as an Assistant Professor for the MB programme – Interior and Public Space Design at the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
