An experimental walk in the city
of Tomar, Portugal.
City fragments and verses project is a continuation of The Poetry of the Cityscape project that presents fragments of the urban environment in a poetic way. The main goal of the City fragments and verses project was to create a world between imaginary and real, generating a new perspective on understanding the City. From the images captured in the urban environment with the architectural details or the everyday moments, I extracted the essential parts, building with them a new image. This condensation of visual fragments reduces the message to the essential and places my urban experience in an imaginary virtual space.
The project contains a series of six visual narratives recreated from the verses of poems by the poet Fernando Pessoa.
