A psychogeographic
exploration in a limited space
A Psychogeography of a place is not only in an urban structure. Any exploration of a space that produces emotion and immersion can be considered a psychogeographic experience. I was honoured to attend the 4th World Congress of Psychogeography between Friday 4 to Sunday 6 September 2020. The congress took place in the virtual space this year and the theme of the conference "Walk, Don’t Walk" was in line with recent events.

During the months I stayed in the house because of the quarantine, I meditated on reducing the space of the experience from the size of the city to the size of an apartment. I remembered a famous work written in the nineteenth century by Xavier de Maistre Voyage Autour de ma Chambre is perhaps the first work of psychogeography in the truest sense of the word.
At the congress, I presented the experience of my room in the form of mini video montages, a beautiful kaleidoscope of images with objects that aroused my memories and emotions.
My project is hosted in an online exhibition on the 4th World Congress of Psychogeography site, 2020 edition.
