Foto>Grafisme
Movement and sign.
Foto>Grafisme was an exhibition that explored two interpretations of the graphic sign. In collaboration with my talented friend, painter Constantin Rusu, I invited the audience to delve into various dimensions of the graphic sign within the exhibition space. My photographs captured the traces of time's impact on materials and the signs of human actions in urban environments, while Constantin's paintings highlighted the gesture-sign on the canvas surface. The exhibition took place at Gallery 15 Design Bucharest, Romania, from June 23rd to July 14th, 2023.

My urban photography presents a collection of visual narratives. By capturing details that preserve traces of the past embedded in the built environment, as well as signs of significant degradation, I reveal an astonishing world. During my walks to the city, I have given new interpretations to the details found on the aged walls, sometimes depicting captivating landscapes or enigmatic human figures. All the signs I discovered I have transformed into my unique concept of graphism, reimagining the city.
